Hunton Park Wedding Photographer
Hunton Park Wedding Photographer, I get about as you can see, had a really nice wedding here at Hunton Park, sounds like I got married doesn’t it. Well I could have easily here. Always the bridesmaid never the bride or in my case the Groom. Seen as I wrote a little information with the last wedding I thought I’d keep with that spirit and share a little here. So just read between the pictures a few little gems about the whole day and the experience. Needless to say I continue to have the pleasure of capturing some of the UK’s most beautiful flowers, dresses, bridesmaids, Brides and not forgetting Grooms, cough… Just making that clear for all visually challenging folk like myself. You see you got one day to shine and it’s your wedding day. That old cliche that every Bride looks beautiful on her wedding day is so true. creep…….;)
Joking aside, I got my first photographers Box at this wedding, I can tell you far from a privilege from a coverage point of view. Ever mindful and respectful of the service I never got much of an opportunity to get out of my Box. All I can say is the Vicar must have had some dreadful experiences to place Photographers in a Box during the service. Nevertheless I play by House Rules always, documentary wedding photographer that I am.
People can make or break a wedding, I was fortunate enough to be amongst the happiest bunch in the country on that Saturday, I don’t think I have any pictures of anyone not smiling and laughing throughout the day. Pretty amazing day.
As you may have gathered I like what I do, and its the people who make it for me. It takes time to find something in life you really enjoy doing. Contrary to popular belief there are far greater financial rewards to be had in any other profession. Ask any photographer’s accountant. The true wealth is being part of the warmth, emotion, and overwhelming binds of family that make a wedding day so special. For that reason it’s a incredible honour and privilege to be part of it all. And so the story begins in Pictures
The hanging dress was a calculated risk. One the chandelier weighted a lot, Two not really what you should be doing with the hotel’s fine decor, thankfully I’m insured for creativity. Was it worth it ? I think so, how else would you get to see all the layers of a wedding dress !
The lads on the way to the church guided by the white lines and walking in a straight line, for now.
Moving on to the more glamourous folk, the Bride and Bridesmaids
Best Man takes a peak, waiting for the Bride and the final few guest enter the church
From here I was in the Box I mentioned earlier.
I love the picture above, it’s filled with everything, in case you cant see it all. I will talk you through it, I wouldn’t want you to miss anything. Firstly the Father and Mother of the Bride look on as the couple exchange Vows, the mother raises her hand touched by the emotion of it all. All the guests in the background are head tilted in the direction of the Bride and Groom. Now this is where it gets interesting, the girl at the centre bottom of the picture looks back at the expression of the Bridesmaid on the Left, Priceless ! I haven’t got to a thousand words but you get the idea. Yes this is pure documentary wedding photography
Got one ! Notice the flashgun on the right, it fired several times into my lens during the processional cause mis-focusing, guest with cameras absolutely fine, guests with Cameras and Flashguns pointing into your lens not so good. At least I forewarned the client pre wedding.
A clean straight on formal with all the important people, I never shy from important memories of your wedding day.
Flower girls, the beginning every Girl’s dream
One above and one below, the Bride misses her chair, the Parents and the Groom look on be-musingly and completely disown her in a fraction of a second later in the picture below, you had to be there, it was so funny.
Caught, the difficulty in trying to catch guests unaware of your presence, I captured his mothers strong attentive pose as she listened to the speeches, he was less interested and looked down the lens back at me. The picture still works as it says not everyone is keen on speeches.
Two shots in one, two points of view seconds apart, a bereft Bride listening as only her Dad can tell it, the Groom offers a arm of support, in the compact below the Groom stands to offer support after her Dad’s word of wisdom, side splittingly funny
The Wish Tree, what a great idea, hopefully it got planted later, a great piece of memorabilia from your wedding.
A chance image the Bride applauds and reflects in the guests glass
Five minutes with the Bride before we hit the dance-floor, three different looks
Traditional cake cutting pictures I love em, stand there hold that, this is so much better, I should have known it was coming given the day so far.
The girls airbourne, just doing a light test before the main players come on, I like it.
For the Black and White Lovers, a starry night.
I loved Hunton Park for the lighting and the dance floor, especially the star cloth ceiling, completely transforms a wedding have good background lighting. The DJ was considerate of the first dance (lighting) and was also a great DJ, the dance-floor filled straight after the couple finished the first dance.
Loved the interaction on the dance floor, if any of these people are throwing a party, Go…
As I walk away after an amazing day I turned and took one last shot (specs for camera guests 85mm @f/1.4 ) , without that lens I couldn’t shoot a wedding. You’ve read everything to this point this means your now a die-hard fan and should probably like me on Facebook :~) Bottom Right !
